Tri-State Bible Camp’s Men’s Retreat is a focused weekend designed to help men step away and intentionally pursue spiritual growth. This retreat offers fellowship and activities, powerful preaching, and time for personal reflection. Men will be encouraged and challenged as they strengthen their walk with Christ and build lasting connections with one another.

Mike Lester

Dr. J. Michael Lester has served in Christian education since 1995, teaching at every level and traveling extensively to promote ministry training. He spent 26 years in Christian higher-education leadership roles.  He joined Veritas Baptist College in 2021, becoming its president in 2022. Raised in a pastor’s home, he and his wife, Jen, have five daughters. An author and blogger, he is passionate about writing and training future ministry leaders.

General Information

The dress for the weekend is casual. Please do not bring any alcohol or tobacco products. In addition to this, you may want to bring the following: a Bible, notebook, pen, pillowcase, sheets/blankets or sleeping bag and towels. You may also want to bring extra money for the bookstore and snack shack. 

Please call if you need specific information on availability. Accommodations are reserved on a first-received registration basis. All beds will be filled in each room. Sorry, but we are unable to fulfill requests to be housed by yourself. There is a $30 non-refundable reservation fee due per person. Linens are only provided in apartment accommodations.

Hall Bath: Comfortable, dormitory-style housing located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the main Inn building. Rooms accommodate 2-4 people with bathrooms located in the middle of the hall. 

Private Bath: Hotel-style lodging on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Inn. Rooms accommodate 2 people. Bathrooms are located in your room. 

Family Cabin (Taggart Hall): Newly renovated, comfortable room with three bunk beds, full bed, and private bathroom in a climate-controlled building. Rooms accommodate up to 7 people. 

Cottage: Comfortable rooms, with bathrooms located in your room. These rooms are located at ground level for those with difficulty climbing stairs. These rooms accommodate 2 people. 

Apartment: One-bedroom apartments with separate living room, kitchen, bedroom, and private bath. Rooms accommodate up to 5 people.  

Although the retreat is geared toward adult men, we encourage men to bring their teenage sons with them for the men's retreat. Make it a father son weekend that will help you make great memories together!
