Camp visitors have had the pleasure of enjoying the tall pine trees behind the Inn for decades, but unfortunately those trees had hit the end of their life span. Over the past few years we have seen several of those trees break off hitting the pole barn and taking power lines with them. As a result of that, we made the decision to remove the trees for the protection of our campers and buildings. The good news is that we had a portable saw mill at the camp today cutting up some of those trees into 1" boards that will be turned into a wainscoting to be used in the upcoming dining room addition so that campers will be able to enjoy the beauty of those trees for decades to come!
